Japan-China maritime disputes a wartime legacy
Shorenstein APARC in the news: Rendezvous Blog, International Herald Tribune on August 16, 2012Japan's coast guard recently detained a group of Chinese activists in the disputed Senkaku/Diaoyu Islands in the East China Sea. The longstanding territorial tug-of-war in the region is a legacy of World War Two, said Daniel Sneider in an interview.
