Sheryl Davies, M.A. is a senior research assistant and project manager at the Center for Primary Care and Outcomes Research. She has extensive project management skills and strong foundation in research methods. Her relevant experience includes systematic literature searches, systematic abstraction of literature, conducting structured expert panel reviews, developing data bases in Microsoft Access, analyzing data using SPSS or SAS, supervising research assistants, and drafting reports and manuscripts. Over the past seven years she has managed the development of the AHRQ Quality Indicators project, and has co-authored three technical reports on the QIs, papers and several abstracts. She has developed an expertise in administrative data and ICD-9-CM coding and quality measurement and risk adjustment using administrative data. She earned her bachelor's degree with honors in human biology and a master's degree in psychology from Stanford University. She has clinical experience in pediatric oncology inpatient and outpatient settings as a Child Life Specialist.
