John Anderson is a PhD candidate in economics at Stanford University and a graduate researcher at PESD. His research applies econometric methods to the study of energy policy in the United States and Canada. At present, he is working on a study of technical change in the US wind energy industry, as well as a study of upstream natural gas taxation in British Columbia.
John holds an MPhil in economics from the University of Oxford and a BA in economics from the University of Calgary.
