Research Interests
Poverty and Inequality, Latin American Politics, Redistributive Programs and Politics in the Andean Region, Socialism in Latin America.
Elena is the assistant to CISAC co-director David Relman, and the program associate for the Program on Poverty and Governance at CDDRL. She holds an MA in Latin American Studies and a BA with Honors in International Relations, both from Stanford University.
