in the newsOn December 3rd, Dr. Michael Wara testified before the House Agriculture Subcommittee on Conservation, Credit, Energy, and Research about carbon offsets. Dr. Wara along with the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Chief Economist, the Congressional Budget Office's Assistant Director for Microeconomics Studies, and a panel of professors with expertise in agricultural and environmental economics, participated in the Committee's continued review on the costs and benefits of agriculture offsets.
