CISAC fellow Braut-Hegghammer: Don't Go All Baghdad on Tehran

Appeared in Foreign Affairs, October 23, 2012

Malfrid Braut-Hegghammer, a CISAC visiting associate professor and Stanton nuclear security junior faculty fellow at CISAC, co-authors a piece in Foreign Affairs with Rolf Ekéus, a former Swedish Ambassador to the United States. They write that in the run-up to the Iraq War, diplomacy and weapons inspections became a means to an end: building a justification for war. They insist that was a mistake then and it's becoming one now.
